Boulangerie la Parisienne

Lahcen Abassi, the Owner and General Manager of Boulangerie la Parisienne, has a long history with the company.  Lahcen worked for the bakery as a part time job while in high school during the early 1990’s.  After earning a Physics degree from UBC and working in hotel management, Lahcen returned to manage the Boulangerie la Parisienne in 2003 and purchased it in 2006, including the café on Mainland Street in Yaletown that opened in 1997. Shortly after purchasing Boulangerie la Parisienne, Lahcen opened a new French cafe in downtown Vancouver called “Café de France”.  Both cafés sell fine pastries, cakes, croissants and sandwiches prepared fresh daily at the Boulangerie la Parisienne bakery.
